+- Saying goodbye to people
+- Sudden calmness after depression (may have made a decision)
+- Increased alcohol or drug use

+**If someone is in crisis:**

+1. Ask directly: "Are you thinking about suicide?" (Asking does NOT increase risk)
+2. Stay with them
+3. Remove means if possible (medications, weapons)
