Ett verktyg som glöms bort i ett skjul kommer att börja rosta. Och regler för heder och hövlighet blir till bojor när de förlorar sin mening. Vad är syftet med en krigare när riket lever i fred, med ett svärd som aldrig dras från sin slida? Soluppgångens riken hade upplevt intern fred under lång tid … för lång tid för vissa samurajer. Om det inte gick att vinna heder på hemmaplan skulle Bushido-krigarna hitta det utomlands. Detta ledde till starten på de fruktade samurajinvasionerna.\n \nArméer av fanatiska samurajer ledda av den ondskefulla Shogun Akechi anlände till Stormhavets stränder. Sasaki hade tagit värvning hos Akechi efter att ha slutfört sin träning och deltog i många strider. Hon stred under den bodiga erövringen av Kryddöarna. Och hon hade själv smutsat ner sitt svärd och sin heder med de oskyldigas blod.\n \nNär Akechi inledde sin ökända invasion av Storriket visste Sasaki att hon var tvungen att agera och utmanade skurk-daimyon på en hedersduell.
