+

+- Outdated within weeks
+- Ignored when making decisions
+
+**Actively Referenced (Powerful):**
+- Opened multiple times per week
+- Linked in all project documentation
+- Updated when assumptions change
+- Consulted before major decisions
+
+**The goal:** Make the brief so useful that people naturally reference it.
+

+### Making Design Decisions
+
+**The Question:** "Should we add this feature?"
+
+**Without the Brief:**
+- Designer guesses based on intuition
