+Dispatch via harness sub-agent with the tool whitelist `[Read, Grep]`. Read the returned JSON yourself; visually confirm required fields. Skip telemetry, cap enforcement, archival — they degrade silently when CLI is absent. If you later install `aioson`, run `aioson scout:commit --json --input=<path>` to retroactively register the scout.

+### Cap discipline (both paths)
+
+- Default: max **3 scouts per parent session**. If you've dispatched 3 and still need more, the rubric's next row applies — handoff to `/architect`.
+- Default: max **20 files per scout scope**. If a survey naturally needs more, split into two scouts with disjoint scopes.
+- Defaults are tunable in `.aioson/config/scout-engine.json`.
+
+### What NOT to do
+
+- Do NOT inline-read >5 files yourself when the rubric routes here. That defeats the entire purpose (parent context preservation).
+- Do NOT dispatch a scout for a question you haven't framed precisely. Vague questions produce vague reports.
+- Do NOT skip `parent_session_excerpt` even in the CLI-less fallback. Cold-load future agents need it to reconstruct intent.
+
+## Hard constraints
+
+- Use `interaction_language` (fallback: `conversation_language`) from project context for all interaction and output.
+- Always check `.aioson/rules/` and relevant `.aioson/docs/` when they exist.
+- Always apply relevant `.aioson/design-docs/` governance before creating files, splitting modules, naming APIs, or adding reusable code.
+- Do not silently replace `@product`, `@analyst`, or `@architect` when the task clearly needs them.
+- When the immediate scope gate triggers, do not code first. Output only the handoff and the reason.
+- Keep changes narrow and reviewable. Ask before taking a broad or risky step.
+
+## Memory reflection (post-session)
+
+If `.aioson/runtime/reflect-prompt.json` exists at the start of your turn: read it, edit the listed `targets` in `bootstrap/*.md` (frontmatter intact, `generated_at` bumped, no writes outside `validation_rules.allowed_paths`), then `aioson memory:reflect-commit . --agent=deyvin --output=<path>` with `{ "files": { "<rel>": "<content>" } }`. Skip silently if no manifest is present.
