+
+Invoke as `$desk-flip`.
+
+Autopsy a stuck project, extract salvageable artifacts (lessons, valid specs, non-code assets), and route the user to a fresh start either in a new repo or by resetting the existing repo with `$bootstrap-repo --reset-existing`.
+
+This skill always desk-flips. If the user invoked it, the decision to restart is already made. Do not offer incremental migration or attempt to fix the old project in place.
+
+## Workflow
+
+1. **Identify the stuck project.**
+   - Accept an optional project path from the invocation arguments; default to the current working directory.
+   - Verify the target is a git repo with existing code, not an empty repo.
+   - If the project appears to already use the new workflow (file-backed specs, prototype-first artifacts, healthy structure), warn the user and confirm before proceeding.

+
+**Full content requirement.** The alignment page must contain the complete content of every proposed markdown deliverable -- every section, every finding, every detail, every list item. It is a thorough interactive review document, not a summary. Render the full deliverable content in clean, readable HTML with appropriate hierarchy, styling, and navigation. If the skill writes multiple scoped deliverables in one run, build one alignment page that contains all deliverables with anchor-linked navigation. Durable tracker artifacts, such as `research/assumption-tracker.md`, remain canonical markdown outputs but must also be fully rendered into the alignment page before approval.

+# VARD Align
+
+Invoke as `/vard-align`.
+
+Rapid alignment check for a VARD candidate. Validates whether the concept is worth shipping this week and produces a 1-page go/no-go alignment doc.
+
+## Process
+
+1. **Identify candidate:** Read the most recent vard-scan output or `$ARGUMENTS` for the concept to evaluate.
+2. **Light interview (1-3 questions):** Ask only what's needed to resolve ambiguity:
+   - Target audience or distribution channel unclear?
+   - Technical feasibility question?
+   - Scope creep risk?
+3. **Check dimensions:**
+   - **Feasibility:** Can this ship in 1-3 days with available tech? Any blockers?
+   - **Novelty:** Does a good-enough version already exist? What's the differentiation?
+   - **Distribution fit:** Is there a clear, free or cheap channel to reach users?
+   - **Timing:** Is this time-sensitive? Will the window close?
+   - **Downside:** What's the worst case if it flops? (Should be: "we lost 2 days")
+4. **Verdict:** GO or NO-GO with one-line rationale.
+5. **If GO:** Produce a 1-page alignment doc:
+   - Concept (2-3 sentences)
+   - Target user
+   - Core feature (the one thing it does)
+   - Tech stack recommendation
+   - Ship deadline (date)
+   - Success metric (what "traction" means for this experiment)
+   - Distribution plan (launch day channels)
+
+## Output
+
+Write alignment doc to `alignment/vard-<slug>.md` if GO. End with:

+# VARD Scan
+
+Invoke as `/vard-scan`.
+
+Rapid opportunity scanner for viral app ideas. Produces a lightweight brief — enough to decide whether to build this week, not a full idea-scope-brief.
+
+## Process
+
+1. **Gather signals:** Scan for opportunities across:
+   - Trending topics, memes, cultural moments with app potential
+   - App Store / Play Store gaps and underserved niches
+   - Twitter/Reddit/HN pain points that a simple tool could solve
+   - Existing apps with poor UX that could be reimagined
+   - Seasonal or time-sensitive opportunities
+2. **Filter for VARD fit:** Each candidate must pass:
+   - Buildable in 1-3 days by a solo developer
+   - Viral or shareable mechanic (results people screenshot, share, or talk about)
+   - No complex backend requirements (serverless-friendly)
+   - Clear distribution channel (social, SEO, Product Hunt, etc.)
+3. **Produce brief:** For each viable candidate (aim for 2-5), output:
+   - One-line concept
+   - Why now (timeliness signal)
+   - Viral mechanic (what makes people share it)
+   - Build estimate (hours)
+   - Distribution channel
+   - Revenue potential (none / ads / freemium / one-time)
+4. **Rank and recommend:** Order candidates by (virality × feasibility) and highlight the top pick.

+## Output

+A ranked list of 2-5 viral app candidates with lightweight briefs. End with:

+
+Invoke as `/vard-ship`.
+
+Rapid shipping for VARD experiments. Deploys the app, creates a landing page if needed, wires up basic analytics, and appends to the running ship log.
+
+## Process
+
+1. **Pre-flight:** Confirm the app is buildable and testable locally.
+   - Read the vard-align doc for scope and success metrics.
+   - Run the build. Fix blockers.
+   - Verify the core feature works end-to-end.
+2. **Deploy:**
+   - Choose the simplest deployment path (Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, GitHub Pages, or static hosting).
+   - Deploy and verify the live URL works.
+3. **Landing page:** If the app doesn't have one, create a minimal landing page:
+   - Hero with concept pitch
+   - CTA (try it / install it / share it)
+   - Social meta tags (og:image, og:title, og:description) for shareability
+4. **Analytics:** Wire up lightweight analytics if not already present:
+   - Page views and unique visitors at minimum
+   - Core action tracking (the one thing the app does)
+   - Prefer simple solutions (Plausible, Umami, or a single event to an existing provider)
+5. **Ship log:** Append entry to `research/vard-ship-log.md`:
+   - Date, concept name, live URL
+   - Tech stack used
+   - Build time (estimated hours)
+   - Distribution channels hit on launch day
+   - Success metric from alignment doc
+   - Status: `launched`
+6. **Distribution:** Execute launch-day distribution:
+   - Post to identified channels from alignment doc
+   - Ensure social sharing works (test og tags render correctly)
