+# Iambic Pentameter Practice
+
+## Overview
+
+This exercise develops your ear for iambic pentameter through progressive practice: listening, scanning, correcting, and creating.
+
+**Time Required**: 45-60 minutes
+**Difficulty**: Beginner to Intermediate
+**Prerequisites**: Basic understanding of stressed/unstressed syllables
+
+## What is Iambic Pentameter?
+
+### The Iamb
+An **iamb** is a two-syllable foot with the pattern: **unstressed/stressed** (u /)
+
+**Examples**:
+- a**LONE** (u /)
+- be**FORE** (u /)
+- the **CAT** (u /)
+- to **BE** (u /)
+
+### Pentameter
+**Pentameter** means five feet (five iambs) per line.
+
+**Pattern**:
