# threepack
2
+
3
+
A portable package format for three.js objects — and the tools around it:
4
+
pack, exchange, preview, load, and drop assets into a scene with no
5
+
integration steps.
6
+
7
+
A `.3pack` bundles a model with its shaders, particles, lights, and
8
+
animation, plus a manifest contract describing what the object needs from a
9
+
host scene. The loader reads the contract and wires everything up — an asset
10
+
arrives *working*, not as a dead model file. The contract is flexible enough
11
+
to express scene couplings (shared time, wind, lighting) as plain data.
12
+
13
+
**This package name is reserved while the first release is finalized.**
14
+
The format, loader, and CLI are in active development. First public release: soon.
