+# Semantic Scholar MCP
+
+Search academic papers and read citation counts from the public Semantic Scholar API. No key required.
+
+This file is self contained. It reads public data only and never writes to the machine. All output is bounded and honest about what could not be fetched.

+## Tools

+* `search_papers`  Search papers.
+* `paper_info`  Details and citations for a paper.
+
+## Usage
+

+
+Semantic Scholar rate limits anonymous access. The server retries and reports an honest error when the limit is hit.
