Set `prewalk.mode: "trajectory"` to fork the finalized call/result into a Pi child and wait. A hidden follow-up then has Main verify the child's work and summarize, so it never settles idle by design. The parent activity card shows the handoff call, child, progress/current tool, nested tools, metrics, and result. Trajectory mode requires enabled agents. Both modes let all nested calls settle before the boundary, disarm a triggerless completed task, defer to explicit `agents.handoff()`, and are disabled by Schema enforce mode. Use `/fabric prewalk --status` or `/fabric prewalk --off`.

Use `/fabric agents` to list children and `/fabric attach <id>` for the attach command. Abort signals propagate to the transport and selected child process. Claude runs use official `claude -p` stream JSON with `dontAsk`, `--tools`, and `--allowedTools`; `extensions: false` adds Claude safe mode. One-shot Claude sessions use `--no-session-persistence`. Claude cannot use `recursive: true`, `fabric_exec`, or direct mesh APIs.
