- [#1482](https://github.com/xdan/jodit/issues/1482) `cleanHTML.removeEmptyElements` removed empty `<a name>` anchors and empty elements with an `id`, silently breaking in-page (`#fragment`) links in existing content on the first clean pass. Those fragment targets are now kept; other empty inline elements are still removed. Thanks to [@brendon](https://github.com/brendon) ([#1484](https://github.com/xdan/jodit/pull/1484)).

- [#1481](https://github.com/xdan/jodit/issues/1481) The adaptive toolbar chose its button set (`buttons`/`buttonsMD`/`buttonsSM`/`buttonsXS`) by the editor's width even when `toolbar` pointed at an external container, so a wide toolbar above a narrow editor showed the smallest set. It now uses that container's width and falls back to the editor's parent when the container has no width. Thanks to [@brendon](https://github.com/brendon) ([#1483](https://github.com/xdan/jodit/pull/1483)).

- [#1455](https://github.com/xdan/jodit/issues/1455) Dragging an element inside an `iframe` editor showed the drag ghost far away from the pointer. The ghost is a `position: fixed` clone in the top document, but the `mousemove` coordinates come from the iframe document, so the ghost trailed the pointer by exactly the iframe's offset on the page. The iframe's position is now added to the ghost coordinates; the caret still uses the iframe-relative point.

#### :rocket: New Feature

- [#1438](https://github.com/xdan/jodit/issues/1438) New `cleanHTML.removeTrailingBr` option (default `false`). Browsers keep a trailing `<br>` inside a block after typing into an empty one (`<p>test<br></p>`) and it ends up in the value. With the option on, the value getter drops a `<br>` that is the last node of a block — or of the whole value in `enter: 'br'` mode — and follows other content; empty blocks (`<p><br></p>`) and deliberate empty lines (`text<br><br>`) are kept.
