# Harlay

Harlay is a macOS desktop app that moves a coding task between AI agents. When a session stops mid-task, usually on a usage limit, Harlay picks it up and reopens it in another agent with the full context, so the work continues rather than starting over. It supports Claude Code, Codex and Cursor today, with more agents to come.

Each handoff is a single local file: your messages, where the agent stopped, the failing command and your uncommitted changes, with secrets redacted. Nothing leaves your machine. Harlay also tracks how much usage each agent has left and flags chats that have grown long enough to become unreliable.
