+Nine categories listed, and the one missing is the only one that can stop a batch of five
+hundred recordings before a byte is written. `assertDistinct` refuses two recordings whose output
+would land in one directory, and refuses one destination sitting inside another; both throw
+`OptionError` and exit 2.
