+The changes I made to `jira.js`:
+
+1. Added `fetchFieldMetadata()` function - fetches all field definitions from `/rest/api/2/field` to get display names
+2. Added `extractCustomFieldValue()` helper - extracts values from various custom field formats (objects with `.value`, `.name`, arrays, etc.)
+3. Updated `formatJiraIssue()` to accept field metadata and include a `customFields` object with human-readable field names
+
+Now when you load a single issue, all custom fields with non-null values will appear under `customFields` with their proper display names like "Project code" instead of "customfield_13908".
