+
+- **JS Global Errors**: Uncaught exceptions and fatal errors are captured via React Native's ErrorUtils global handler.
+- **Unhandled Promise Rejections**: Rejections without a `.catch()` are captured where available.
+- **App Lifecycle**: Foreground/background transitions create breadcrumbs.
+- **Log Breadcrumbs**: Every `Vestara.log()` call adds a breadcrumb for crash grouping.
+- **Offline Queue**: Events are queued in AsyncStorage when offline, flushed on reconnect.

+## Device Settings
+
+The SDK polls `/v1/sdk/device-settings` every 60 seconds. When `logging_enabled` is `false`, log events are suppressed. Crash events are never suppressed.
+
+## Queue Behavior
+
+- Max 500 events in the queue (AsyncStorage persisted).
+- Crash events are never dropped — they evict non-crash events first.
+- Queue is loaded from AsyncStorage on app restart.
+- Events are batch-flushed every 10 seconds; crashes flush immediately.
+
+## Platform
+
+- `os_name` is derived from `Platform.OS`: `"ios"` or `"android"`.
+- `os_version` uses `Platform.Version`.
+- `device_model` is `"ios react-native"` or `"android react-native"`.
+
+## Caveats
+
+- No native module linking required.
+- No modifications to iOS/Android project files needed.
+- Promise rejection capture depends on React Native version availability; falls back gracefully if unavailable.
+- Global error handler preserves React Native's default behavior (e.g., redbox in dev).
