+### `generateUUID(): string`

+Generates a v4 UUID using expo-crypto's `randomUUID()` method.

+### `uuidv4(): string`
+
+Alias for `generateUUID()` (backward compatibility).
+
+**Note:** This is deprecated. Use `generateUUID()` instead.
