+# @toptal/picasso-cypress-utils — name reservation
+
+This `0.0.0` release is an **empty placeholder** that exists only to create the
+package on npm. Do not install or depend on it.
+
+**Why it exists:** `toptal/picasso` publishes via npm **trusted publishing**
+(OIDC, no tokens). Trusted publishing is configured per package on its npm
+settings page — which a never-published package does not have — so the very
+first release of any new package must be published once with real credentials.
+This stub is that first release.
+
+The real package — Cypress commands written against Picasso's DOM contract
+(`getPopup`, `setChecked`, `assertChecked`, `assertDisabled`, `selectOption`,
+`getTooltip`) — ships from
+[toptal/picasso#5092](https://github.com/toptal/picasso/pull/5092) as `100.x`:
+alpha builds on the `canary` dist-tag, the stable release on `latest` after
+merge, replacing this placeholder.
