## [v0.0.9] - 2026-09-02

### Fixed
|

- `TextEditor`/`b-ui="text-editor"`: collaborative mode (`collaborative="true"`) could crash with `MilkdownError: Context "editorState" not found, do you forget to inject it?` — the `y-webrtc`/`y-websocket` provider began syncing over the network the moment it was constructed, before the editor was created and the Yjs doc bound to Milkdown's collab plugin (`bindDoc().connect()`). A remote peer's sync update landing in that window could dispatch a ProseMirror transaction against an editor whose Milkdown context wasn't (yet, or any longer) fully wired. Both provider types are now created paused (`WebsocketProvider`'s `connect: false` option; an explicit `provider.disconnect()` right after construction for `WebrtcProvider`, which has no such option) and only resumed via `provider.connect()` after `bindDoc().setAwareness().applyTemplate().connect()` has fully wired the collab plugin against a live ctx.

### Fixed
|

- `TextEditor`/`b-ui="text-editor"`: a prop-driven restart (`provider`/`room`/`url`/`password`/`signaling` change) landing while the previous editor mount was still in flight could discard the stale editor but never remount a fresh one, leaving the editor permanently unmounted with no error. Affected both collaborative and non-collaborative modes.

Its strong points: **no build step** — every component runs straight from a CDN `<script>`/import map, nothing to compile; **modular component design** — each component is a self-contained unit you import or mark up individually, not a monolith; **vanilla JavaScript/TypeScript** — no framework lock-in, no JSX, no compiler-specific syntax to learn; and this combination makes it well suited to building **WYSIWYG website builders**, where components must mount, unmount, and re-render dynamically from user-driven markup or drag-and-drop edits rather than a fixed build-time component tree.

Both APIs load straight from a CDN — jsDelivr or unpkg — no build step, no self-hosting required. The snippets below use the `@latest` tag for readability; pin an exact version instead (e.g. `@0.0.8`) for any production page, since `@latest` can change what your page loads the moment a new version ships. Pure Owl usage:
