+- **Wrap the pet's sixel draw (save-cursor + position + sixel + restore-cursor)
+  in a single tmux DCS passthrough unit.** The pet uses `DECSC`/`DECRC`
+  (`\x1b7`/`\x1b8`) to stay cursor-neutral, but those bytes were emitted outside
+  the passthrough envelope, so only tmux saw them — the outer terminal received
+  just the cursor-advancing sixel via passthrough, never restored its cursor,
+  and scrolled the whole viewport up on every animation frame (leaving the pet
+  pinned in place). The save/restore now travels with the sixel through
