Adapters for Claude Code, `anthropic-max`, the Codex CLI, and Antigravity read stored credentials and normalize every reported window into one model of consumed percentage, so a provider's own percentages and another's remaining fractions are never interpreted interchangeably. Readings are cached for about five minutes and refreshed lazily when a surface that shows them renders, never on a background timer; a failed refresh keeps the last good reading and marks it stale instead of blanking the account. Reads are read-only: no token refresh, no credential write, no sign-in flow. An expired credential is reported with the provider's own guidance. A provider's own severity word outranks Clio's fallback thresholds, a provider that reports no 5h window gets no 5h row, and two credentials on one Anthropic subscription fold into a single account so the apparent budget is not doubled. Accounts that merely show equal percentages never merge.
