- Let the owner mark a conversation as their own address with `contacts self CONTACT on|off`. iMessage self chats deliver each owner text as an inbound copy plus an outgoing echo; the echo is no longer mistaken for the owner's answer, and the butler's own wrapped sends echoing back inbound cannot trigger another reply. Marking requires a visible butler wrap so the echo signal cannot be cleared away, and stored contacts default off.
