+## Backend
+
+FaceSmash uses [PocketBase](https://pocketbase.io) as its backend. The SDK connects to any PocketBase instance with the following collections:

+- `user_profiles` — name, email, face_embedding
+- `face_templates` — per-user face descriptor templates
+- `face_scans` — scan history with quality scores
+- `sign_in_logs` — authentication logs
+
