+# Contributor License Agreement
+
+Thank you for contributing to `@dikolab/kbdb` (the "Project").
+
+To keep the Project dual-licensable (AGPL-3.0 **and** a commercial
+license), the maintainer needs certain rights in every contribution. By
+submitting a contribution (a pull/merge request, patch, or any code,
+documentation, or other material) to the Project, you agree to the terms
+below. If you are contributing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are
+authorized to do so on its behalf.
+
+## 1. Definitions
+
+"You" means the individual or entity making the contribution.
+"Contribution" means any original work you intentionally submit to the
+Project.
+
+## 2. Copyright license
+
+You grant the maintainer (Diko Tech Slave) and recipients of software
+distributed by the maintainer a **perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive,
+royalty-free, irrevocable** copyright license to reproduce, prepare
+derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and
+distribute your Contribution and such derivative works **under any license
+terms, including both the AGPL-3.0 and proprietary/commercial licenses.**
+
+## 3. Patent license
+
+You grant the maintainer and downstream recipients a perpetual, worldwide,
+non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable (except as stated below) patent
+license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and
+otherwise transfer your Contribution, covering only those patent claims
+you can license that are necessarily infringed by your Contribution alone
+or by its combination with the Project.
+
+## 4. You retain your rights
+
+You keep all right, title, and interest in your Contribution. This
+agreement is a **license**, not an assignment -- you are free to use your
+own Contribution however you like elsewhere.
+
+## 5. Your representations
+
+You represent that:
+
+- each Contribution is your original creation, or you have the right to
+  submit it under this agreement;
+- your Contribution does not knowingly violate any third party's rights;
+  and
+- if your employer has rights to work you create, you have received
+  permission to make the Contribution, or your employer has waived such
+  rights.
+
+## 6. No obligation
+
+You understand the maintainer is not obligated to use or merge your
+Contribution.
+
+## 7. Disclaimer
+
+Your Contribution is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.
+

+**How to accept:** By submitting a contribution, you indicate acceptance
+of this CLA. For larger contributions, the maintainer may ask you to
+confirm acceptance in the pull/merge request (for example, a comment
+stating: "I have read and agree to the CLA.").
