- # cueframe-skills
2
-
3
- This repository is the home of CueFrame's agent skills and the plugin manifests that deliver them to Claude Code, Codex and ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini CLI, skills.sh and Glama. Each directory under `skills/` is one skill (a `SKILL.md` with frontmatter plus optional references); the manifests at the root and in the dot-directories are one plugin tree that every host reads. It is published to npm as `@cueframe/skills`, which exports `SKILLS_DIR` from `@cueframe/skills/dir`.
4
-
5
- ## Install, one line per host
6
-
7
- - Claude Code: `claude plugin marketplace add cueframe-ai/cueframe-skills && claude plugin install cueframe@cueframe`
8
- - Codex: `codex plugin marketplace add cueframe-ai/cueframe-skills && codex plugin add cueframe@cueframe`
9
- - Gemini CLI: `gemini extensions install https://github.com/cueframe-ai/cueframe-skills`
10
- - Any client that supports Agent Skills: `npx skills add cueframe-ai/cueframe-skills`
11
- - Any MCP client: `claude mcp add --transport http cueframe https://api.cueframe.ai/v1/mcp` (or the equivalent in your client)
12
- - The CueFrame CLI: `npx -y cueframe@0.5 install`
13
-
14
- ## If you are an agent pointed at this repository
15
-
16
- Read `llms-install.md` to connect the `cueframe` MCP server, then load the skill the router names. The router is `hooks/session-inject.md` (Claude Code injects it at session start; Cursor reads the same text from `rules/cueframe.mdc`). It maps the task to a skill: a new video starts with `cueframe-storyboard` then `composing-video`; clipping long footage is `clip-a-talking-head`; not connected yet is `cueframe-connect`. Call `get_account` before any metered call.
17
-
18
- ## The one rule for skills
19
-
20
- Skills are edited here and nowhere else. The CueFrame app, the CLI (`cueframe install`) and the Director all consume this repository, by npm package or by sync; a change made in a consumer is overwritten on the next sync. Edit `skills/<name>/SKILL.md`, run `npm run build && npm run check`, and open a pull request.

- # Install CueFrame for your agent
2
-
3
- CueFrame is a hosted video compose, edit and render service that agents drive over MCP. You bring footage, a brief or a brand; CueFrame does content-aware reframing, transcript-timed captions, motion graphics as real components, and deterministic renders. This page is for an agent (or a person) connecting a client to CueFrame; the skills in this repository then teach the agent the workflows.
4
-
5
- Reference: https://docs.cueframe.ai · OpenAPI: https://api.cueframe.ai/v1/openapi.json
6
-
7
- ## Step 0: if the CueFrame desktop app is open, use it
8
-
9
- The desktop app already runs a local MCP server for the open project, with no account needed. Connect with the bundled binary and its connection file, then skip to Step 4.
10
-
11
- macOS:
12
-
13
- ```
14
- <CueFrame.app>/Contents/MacOS/cueframe-mcp --external --connection-file "~/Library/Application Support/ai.cueframe.studio/mcp-connection.json"
15
- ```
16
-
17
- The app's Agents settings show the exact command for each platform; copy it from there.
18
-
19
- ## Step 1: choose a transport
20
-
21
- Remote (preferred). OAuth opens in the browser on the first call; for headless use send `Authorization: Bearer cf_live_*` instead.
22
-
23
- ```json
24
- { "mcpServers": { "cueframe": { "url": "https://api.cueframe.ai/v1/mcp" } } }
25
- ```
26
-
27
- Stdio shim, for clients that only speak stdio:
28
-
29
- ```json
30
- { "mcpServers": { "cueframe": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "@cueframe/mcp"], "env": { "CUEFRAME_API_KEY": "cf_live_…" } } } }
31
- ```
32
-
33
- ## Step 2: write the config
34
-
35
- Put the block from Step 1 in the client's MCP config: `.mcp.json` (Claude Code), `mcp.json` (Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI), or the client's own settings UI. The server name must be `cueframe`; the skills refer to its tools as `mcp__cueframe__*`.
36
-
37
- ## Step 3: install the skills
38
-
39
- Either install this plugin through your client's plugin or marketplace command (see README.md), or let the CLI write the skills into the project:
40
-
41
- ```
42
- npx -y cueframe@0.5 install
43
- ```
44
-
45
- ## Step 4: verify
46
-
47
- Call `get_account`. It returns the org, plan, entitlements and credit balance; the skills call it before any metered operation. If the tool list has no `mcp__cueframe__*` entries, load the `cueframe-connect` skill and follow it.
