-## 10. Anti-patterns

-1. **Don't pass non-hex colors.** `"rgb(...)"`, `"rgba(...)"`, named colors, or `hsl(...)` will break the kit's internal color math (used to derive `extendedPrimary`). Use `"#RRGGBB"` or `"#RRGGBBAA"` (opacity via alpha).
