+

+**CRUD on the surface, event-sourcing in the engine.** You write `create`/`update`/`remove`/`list`; you get **undo, redo and a full change history for free** — without ever learning "aggregate / projection / CQRS". The default is CRUD; event-sourcing is the motor, not the interface.

+Mutations are `async`: the append can hit an async adapter (SQLite, sync), and a validation or `ConcurrencyError` surfaces through the returned promise instead of being swallowed. Reads (`get`/`list`/`getHistory`) are synchronous.
+
+## What you get, and why it's free
+
+Every call is a real `DomainEvent` on an append-only log. So **undo**, **redo** and the **full change history** are not features you add — they fall out of the engine, with zero extra code (on a conventional CRUD stack, days-to-weeks of work). And because every change is a stored event, **sync, offline and persistence** are available the moment you connect an EventStore/sync adapter through `config` — compatible by construction, not automatic out of the box.
+
+## The one honest boundary
+
+`@bimetal/crud` is **strictly single-entity**:
+
+- no cross-aggregate consistency, no multi-entity transactions,
+- no domain invariants beyond the optional `validate(entity)`,
+- no resolver / merge / LWW / timestamp-tiebreaker — `ConcurrencyError` stays visible (first-writer-wins).
+
+## Graduating up — the free upgrade path
+
+When real invariants or multi-entity atomicity arrive, you **graduate** to a hand-written aggregate over `@bimetal/event-sourcing` (see the `domain-store-bauen` cookbook). The key point: **you migrate the logic, not the data.** The change history carries over — as long as your hand-written aggregate keeps folding (or upcasts) the existing `bimetal.<type>.*` events. A deliberate legacy-fold, not a drop-in aggregate swap; but no throwaway prototype, no data rewrite, no lock-in downward. The CRUD facade is the entrance with a documented exit upward, not a replacement for aggregate design.
