+## Usage
+This gem is a Rails plugin wrapper for a 3rd party library. To find out how to use Spectrum, check out [its documentation](http://bgrins.github.io/spectrum/).
+
+## Installation
+Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
+
+```ruby
+gem 'spectrum_colorpicker_rails'
+```
+
+And then execute:
+```bash
+$ bundle
+```
+
+Then your JavaScript manifest will need:
+```ruby
+//= require spectrum_colorpicker_rails/spectrum
+```
+
+And your Stylesheet manifest will need:
+```ruby
+@import 'spectrum_colorpicker_rails/spectrum';
+```

+## Contributing
+If you need a new version of Spectrum for your project, please:

+2. create an upgrade branch
