# Punisher
2
+
3
+
Punish your database to uncover its weaknesses.
4
+
5
+
This is a work in progress. Eventually there will be a number of tools that
6
+
attempt to provide load, failure and recovery scenarios that will enable
7
+
you to gauge the strengths and weaknesses of a given database.
8
+
9
+
## Why?
10
+
11
+
It seems many databases today maintain many claims about their performance
12
+
and the nature of their ACID compliance. But distinguishing between
13
+
marketing and verifiable truth is difficult. Punisher seeks to change this,
14
+
and provide you with the tools to confirm things for yourself.
15
+
16
+
> For the guilty there is no escape from my justice!
17
+
18
+
## Installation
19
+
20
+
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
21
+
22
+
gem 'punisher'
23
+
24
+
And then execute:
25
+
26
+
$ bundle
27
+
28
+
Or install it yourself as:
29
+
30
+
$ gem install punisher
31
+
32
+
## Usage
33
+
34
+
TODO: Write usage instructions here
35
+
36
+

1. Fork it
39

2. Create your feature branch (`git checkout -b my-new-feature`)
40
+
3. Commit your changes (`git commit -am 'Add some feature'`)
41
+
4. Push to the branch (`git push origin my-new-feature`)
42
+
5. Create new Pull Request
