+## Styleguides
+
+### Commit messages
+
+- Use the present tense ("Add feature" not "Added feature")
+- Use the imperative mood ("Move cursor to..." not "Moves cursor to...")
+- Limit the first line to 72 characters or less
+- Reference issues and pull requests liberally after the first line
+
+### Changelog
+
+- Add a message describing your changes to the "Unreleased" section. The
+  changelog message should follow the same style as the commit message.
+- Prefix your message with one of the following:
+  - `[Added]` for new features.
+  - `[Changed]` for changes in existing functionality.
+  - `[Deprecated]` for soon-to-be removed features.
+  - `[Removed]` for now removed features.
+  - `[Fixed]` for any bug fixes.
+  - `[Security]` in case of vulnerabilities.
