# Elixirize
9
+
10
+
This add the `ᐅ` method to Ruby. It pipes in the returned value of the left as the last parameter of the
11
+
Proc on the right.
12
+
13
+
In Linux to enter ᐅ you need to type CTRl-SHIFT-U and then 1405 followed by the space or enter key.
14
+
15
+
## Installation
16
+
17
+
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
18
+
19
+
```ruby
20
+
gem 'elixirize'
21
+
```
22
+
23
+
And then execute:
24
+
25
+
$ bundle
26
+
27
+
Or install it yourself as:
28
+
29
+
$ gem install elixirize
30
+
31
+
## Usage
32
+
33
+
```ruby
34
+
def add a, b
35
+
a+b
36
+
end
37
+
38
+
subtract = ->a, b{a-b}
39
+
40
+
add(4, 5).ᐅ subtract, 15
41
+
# => 6
42
+
43
+
def divide a,b
44
+
a/b
45
+
end
46
+
47
+
add(4, 6).ᐅ method(:divide), 50
48
+
# => 5
49
+
```
50
+
51
+
## Development
52
+
53
+
After checking out the repo, run `bin/setup` to install dependencies. Then, run `rake test` to run the tests. You can also run `bin/console` for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.
54
+
55
+
To install this gem onto your local machine, run `bundle exec rake install`. To release a new version, update the version number in `version.rb`, and then run `bundle exec rake release`, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the `.gem` file to [rubygems.org](https://rubygems.org).
