# Kinksync
2
+
3
+
Kinksync is a simple gem that let's you synchronize files all over your directory tree with any cloud storage mounted on your file system. If you have two similar systems in different computers and want to share certain configuration files, Kinksync will help you do it easily.
4
+
5
+
## Installation
6
+
7
+
Install it from RubyGems:
8
+
9
+
```
10
+
$ gem install kinksync
11
+
```
12
+
13
+
Kinksync was made to be used as a CLI, but you can also include in your application's Gemfile:
14
+
15
+
```ruby
16
+
gem 'kinksync'
17
+
```
18
+
19
+
And then execute:
20
+
```
21
+
$ bundle
22
+
```
23
+
24
+
## Usage
25
+
26
+
Simple run it from your terminal.
27
+
```
28
+
$ kinksync [-h] [PATHS_LIST]
29
+
```
30
+
31
+
### Without arguments
32
+
Sync all files under remote cloud path with local storage
33
+
34
+
### Optional arguments
35
+
* `-h, --help` Show this help message and exit
36
+
* `[FILE_OR_PATHS_LIST]` Sync all files inside each path, or the file itself
37
+
38
+
## Development
39
+
40
+
After checking out the repo, run `bin/setup` to install dependencies. Then, run `rake spec` to run the tests.
41
+
42
+
To install this gem onto your local machine, run `bundle exec rake install`. To release a new version, update the version number in `version.rb`, and then run `bundle exec rake release`, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the `.gem` file to [rubygems.org](https://rubygems.org).
